AOP GIVRY ROUGE (great red wine of Burgundy in Côte Chalonnaise)
Grape varieties : Pinot Noir - 13 % vol.
Vintage : 2021
A red Givry with purplish tints that seem to herald a wine that is too young, yet on the palate the wine is full of fruit and freshness with beautiful pinot noir aromas of strawberry and blackberry. The finish is long on spices and liquorice.
Still slightly tannic, this Givry should round out in 2 to 4 years, but it is already very pleasant to drink.
Food and wine pairing with this Givry from the Bissey cellar
An agreement that works very well is to associate this red Givry with a beautiful poultry, such as a Bresse poulard or a Capon. You will also appreciate it afterwards with tasty soft cheeses such as a Brie de Meaux or with a beautiful Comté cheese well matured.
