SAINT CHINIAN - LANGUEDOC red wine - BERTRAND estate

SAINT CHINIAN red wine

Vintage : 2020

Grape varieties : Syrah and Mourvèdre blend

Alcoho l: 14,5 % Vol

This Languedoc appellation is produced in the north of the Hérault department, in about twenty communes around the small village that bears its name, just south of the Faugères appellation.

These 2 appellations have had AOC or AOP status since 1982.

The Saint-Chinian PDO produces mainly red wines but there is also a low production of white and rosé wines.

There, we are in the presence of a Saint-Chinian of great quality that will delight all lovers of Languedoc wines.

Beautiful red colour that tends to turn purple on youth.

Fruity aromas of ripe red fruits emerge on the nose with hints of aromatic herbs.

Beautiful freshness on the palate, this wine has the particularity of quickly releasing a beautiful roundness even on wines of 12-18 months.

Food and wine pairing with this Saint-Chinian

Ideal on meat in sauce, we recommend it on a veal blanquette with wild mushrooms. It will also go perfectly with a beautiful delicatessen platter accompanied by aged cow's milk cheeses.

Très joli vin rouge du languedoc!

Un Saint Chinian comme on les aime, structuré et épicé en fin de bouche, cette cuvée 1877 de Gérard Bertrand est vraiment très sympathique.
