The nose is not very expressive, a little on the reserve even, on the other hand when you put this wine in mouth you do not doubt any more to be in the presence of a very great wine of Burgundy. The aromas of black fruits are brilliant with a nice spicy touch and even a little saltiness which gives the wine a slightly velvety side.

This vintage is already delicious when tasted, but it also has a lot of ageing potential and the most patient will be able to enjoy it with a wine at its peak in about ten years time.
