This Bordeaux gravel "Château de Lugey" was called "Château du Coureau" a few years ago.


Let's be honest with you, the changes in the name of this estate's cuvées are so complicated, even misleading for those who knew the old "Château Coureau", that we have thought of no longer offering these wines.

However, on the one hand we appreciate these wines, and on the other hand this Château Lugey is the wine that is matured deep in the sea in oyster crates, which is unique in the world. It is very interesting to taste at the same time the Château Lugey that has spent time at sea, the Rouge des Cabanes and the same wine that has aged simply in the cellars of the Château.
