This Rosine red wine from OGIER estate is the "small" Syrah of the prestigious Côte-Rôtie winemaker.

The wine is without compromise on the Syrah aromas with a mineral structure linked to the granitic subsoil of the plots: a lot of aroma, and as generally with Stéphane OGIER's wines, a lot of finesse too.

The Syrah vines are 20 to 30 years old for the making of the Rosine and are located on a south-eastern slope in the commune of Tupin et Semons. They are therefore right next to the Côte-Rôtie appellation. A 12-month ageing in oak barrels (Burgundy barrels) gives it balance and length.

La Rosine is an outstanding Syrah that all lovers of good Syrah appreciate: a magnificent expression of this grape variety.


Food and wine pairing with La Rosine from Domaine OGIER

This Syrah is very pleasant with any meat in sauce, our favourite is an association with duck breasts with green pepper.

Un de mes vins préférés

Alors pour être passé au domaine Ogier, il y a d'autres vins rouges délicieux chez lui, mais les tarifs sont aussi impressionnant.
Mais La Rosine reste à un tarif raisonnable et elle est pour moi largement au dessus de beaucoup de Saint-Joseph.
Quand je la fait découvrir à des amis, ils se souviennent du nom pour en reprendre!!

    Une belle Syrah haut de gamme

    Je ne suis pas trop grenache, donc pour moi ce vin est l'entrée de gamme du domaine Ogier, et difficile d'être déçu, mais si elle n'est pas donnée, cette rosine est une cuvée qui vaut le détour, une belle syrah du domaine Ogier que jai pris beaucoup de plaisir à découvrir.

      Un délicieuse Syrah !

      Le domaine Ogier n'a qu'un seul défaut, c'est difficile de choisir parmi ses vins rouges : Tous délicieux, plein d'arômes authentique des syrah d'antan mais avec aussi de la finesse. La Rosine est délicieuse.
