MORDORÉE red wine from Chapoutier estate

Vin Rouge

RED WINE

CÔTE-RÔTIE RED WINE LABEL (great red wine from the northern Rhône Valley)

Estate : CHAPOUTIER

Organic Wine : Label AB / Biodynamic / DEMETER

Grape varieties : 100% Syrah (13.5% vol.)

Vintage : Choose your vintage below price

This Côte-Rôtie is made from a selection of vines over 60 years old on the Côte Brune but on the edge of the Côte Blonde. It is aged in new oak barrels for 14 to 18 months depending on the vintage. This vintage is full of character, but it has rounded off and is perfectly suited for drinking at the moment. It is ready to drink but can be kept in the cellar for at least another fifteen years.

This geographical compromise between Côte Brune and Côte Blonde is exceptional because it allows us to have a Côte-Rôtie that is both well-balanced and strong.

The colour of the wine is deep red and the nose is rather discreet but very distinguished on raspberry and spices.

On the palate, this wine is tasty, with full black fruit aromas and a remarkable roundness. The finish is long and aromatic.

A superb Côte-Rôtie de Chapoutier which will enable you to magnify your festive meals.
