When one likes the great Syrah wines of the northern Rhône, one is generally seduced by the red wines of Stéphane Montez.

This Saint-Joseph is in the pure tradition of wines of character with a part of the harvest not de-stemmed, which will give even more aromas to the wine and improve its keeping capacity. The only drawback is that you should be a little more patient when tasting, ideally waiting 2 or 3 years after the harvest.

This Saint-Joseph has a very pleasant nose, with a bouquet of red fruits and even a slightly animal side that appears as the wine warms up in the glass.

On the palate, a full-bodied wine with black fruit aromas and a hint of spice. The finish is particularly pleasant.

A great Saint-Joseph that deserves a little patience but with great potential.
