Produced on the vineyards of 4 towns south of Cluny, northwest of Mâcon, Mâcon-Milly-Lamartine is distinguished by a typical terroir that gives Chardonnay a lively and mineral character. It is a fresh and friendly with a quality/price ratio rare in Burgundy.

This beautiful specimen of the Milly-Lamartine appellation is produced by the Domaine Carrette on vines between 300m and 415m above sea level, on gentle but very sunny slopes, the harvest is often very early and the wine is full of freshness.

It is not a wine to keep, but it can be enjoyed for 3/4 years without any problem.

You will appreciate the aromas of both citrus fruits and apple with some floral notes.


Food and wine pairing with this little Burgundy chardonnay

This Milly-Larmatine has its place at the aperitif with cheese based tapas for example. It is of course also perfect with seafood and/or shellfish. With oysters it is particularly appreciated.
