This Côte-Rôtie comes from a plot located in the Lieu dit Montlys where vines over 20 years old are planted.

Beautiful south-east exposure which gives it optimal sunshine.

Then, it is all François' work that still makes the difference. So yes, we are still enthusiastic about our friend François VILLARD's wines, but we have not yet found anyone to contradict us!

We are, therefore, still in the presence of a very very, very successful nectar that is very logically in the middle of the range of Côtes-Rôties produced on the estate.

Aged for 18 months in oak barrels, 40% of which are new and 60% over 3 years old.

Beautiful dark red colour that immediately makes you want to make it dance to extract all the aromas of small red fruits such as raspberry or morello cherry. On the palate, it is a fruity festival with a superb length!
