This red wine comes from a plateau in the commune of Condrieu. Georges Vernay makes "haute couture" white wine in Condrieu, but his red wine is also very much appreciated.
This Syrah "Fleurs de Mai" is aged 7 months in barrels. The wine has a beautiful deep red colour and aromas of forest fruits and spices.
A fine and elegant wine which will gain in roundness in 1 or 2 years.
Can be kept for 6 to 8 years.
