The wines of the Côte-Rôtie are highly sought-after and much appreciated by all lovers of great red wines.

Spread over 3 communes south of the city of Vienne, Tupin-Semons, Saint-Cyr-sur-le-Rhône and Ampuis, this prestigious appellation is located on the northernmost part of the Côtes-du-Rhône vineyard. Nearly 80 lieux-dits are located in this appellation area, and the lieux-dits in Côte-Rôtie are very important, as are the climates in Burgundy!

The place-dit "Les grandes places" is one of the best known and one of the most sought-after. It could be qualified as a Grand Cru of Côte-Rôtie and this red wine of Stéphane PICHAT is no exception to the rule.

The grapes come 100% from this famous plot and the wine benefits from a beautiful ageing of more than 2 years in oak barrels from the Tronçais forest in France.

The tasting gives way to a very elegant wine with beautiful aromas of ripe red and black fruits and a beautiful length in the mouth revealing beautiful roasted, chocolate and divinely spicy notes.

A wine to be enjoyed between 5 and 20 years!
